Project Overview & Objectives

Levi’s embarked on a nationwide retail transformation across Thailand, involving approximately 100 stores as part of a major brand revamp and new "Dress Up" concept. The initiative spanned department store counters and freestanding boutiques, with the first phase targeting 80 department store outlets and 5 standalone shops.

The key objective was to deliver a consistent, refreshed brand experience across every touchpoint—rapidly and without disrupting daily retail operations. Each transformation had to be executed overnight to ensure stores reopened seamlessly the next day, maintaining uninterrupted customer service.

Scope of Work & Collaboration

Positive Design was appointed as the turnkey partner, leading the rollout across multiple regions and phases. Our scope of work included:

  • End-to-end project coordination and site management

  • General construction and retail fit-out

  • Receiving and staging of brand fixtures

  • Complex logistics planning for night operations across dispersed locations

Collaboration was vital to the success of this large-scale operation. We worked closely with Levi’s brand and design team, fixture suppliers, logistics companies, landlords, MEP consultants, and local engineers. Positive Design acted as the central point of control—aligning every moving part and ensuring efficiency at scale. This level of coordination was key to keeping operations smooth across 5–7 store handovers per night.

Navigating Challenges with Precision

Executing such a rapid, nationwide rollout came with immense logistical and operational challenges. Stores had to be dismantled, fitted, and handed back overnight—ready for business the next day. And this had to happen simultaneously across vastly different geographies in North, South, Central, Northeast, East, and West Thailand.

Through precision planning, real-time coordination, and our well-orchestrated network of teams, we delivered 70 stores in just 9 nights. Each team worked in sync with Levi’s sales and operations team to ensure zero disruption and full readiness at opening. Our agility and ability to adapt on the ground turned an immense challenge into a celebrated success.

Unique Features & Execution Highlights

This project stood out for its sheer scale, speed, and consistency. Delivering a unified brand presence across 100 different retail locations—many of them executed overnight—was a feat of both design alignment and logistical excellence. Positive Design ensured that every Levi’s space, from boutique to department counter, embodied the brand’s new identity with precision and polish.

Results & Impact

The project was completed to an exceptional standard under a timeline few could match. Across Thailand, Levi’s retail presence was transformed—seamlessly, efficiently, and without compromise. The speed, coordination, and quality of execution set a new benchmark in retail rollout delivery.

What others might have deemed impossible, Positive Design brought to life—on time, at scale, and with total brand consistency.
